What does the process look like?

We offer a 'done with you' solution.

Working with one of our consultants, you'll be guided through the data collection process to measure emissions across your entire operational value chain (Scopes 1, 2 and 3).

Once the measurement is complete, a detailed carbon footprint report is created. This will show where your emissions sit across the organisation, broken down by Scopes, supplier(s) etc

From here, we will work with you to develop a commercially focussed carbon and cost reduction strategy highlighting where the business can make the biggest impact, taking into consideration the cost and the reward.

This will form the basis of a project delivery roadmap that we can help execute on in order to reduce your emissions

Frequently asked questions

How long is the process?

It is initially a 12 month programme. We spread the process over a year because we recognise you are busy and we don't want to take you out of the business if we don't need to.

Can we do it more quickly? Of course, but half the amount of time typically means double the amount of effort or capacity you'll need to commit

Do you just provide us a piece of software to add data to?

No.
Our done-with-you methodology means we don't just give you a system and leave you to your own devices. This typically leads to poor quality data collection as most clients are not au-fait with the required standards or experienced enough to conduct a thorough level of validation before submitting data

How much effort is it?

This varies greatly depending on the business age and scale. For clients, the largest 'lift' is data collection and requires coordination internally, between teams like finance and operations as well as collaboration with your supply chain to collect information, which can take time.

Our team will be on hand to support you in greasing the wheels as much as possible to reduce any burden

How does the cost saving piece work?

In measuring your emissions, you are analysing how your business operates. For instance, how much energy, gas and water you're using. This applies to all the operational areas too across the supply and value chains.

What this means is that in tandem with being able to assess your emissions hot-spots, we're also able to assess where pricing and operational inefficiencies exist too.

Overlaying the two data sets allows you to kill two birds with one stone
